Host Hotel
The host hotel is in the greater Vancouver, BC, Canada area. Once registration is paid through Eventbrite, the host hotel information will be listed in your Eventbrite confirmation email along with a link to book our special Hearties rate.

Host Hotel Rate:
$319/night CAD single/double occupancy
$339/night CAD triple occupancy
$359/night CAD quadruple occupancy
These rates are available Sept. 30 - Oct. 5

The host hotel offers a free shuttle from the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

Looking for a roommate? Once individuals are registered and paid through Eventbrite, the confirmation email will also include a link to a private, attendee-only Facebook group. This group is a great spot to meet and coordinate with other Hearties!

Additional travel costs that may be incurred include transportation and food that are not included in your registration fee. 

Travel tip: We highly recommend Hearties arrive by Thursday. This allows time for travel delays, should they occur.

Travel Requirements to Enter Canada

Information about the documents needed to enter Canada may be found on their Canadian Border Services Agency website. In most cases, a passport is required. Do not rely on information from other Hearties regarding what is needed at the border. Review their website thoroughly for this information. Also, check again prior to traveling as these requirements may change.

If you are traveling with a minor child, check out this page to see if a consent letter may be needed in cases where you are traveling with just one parent, or are not the parent of the child.

For travelers from the United States, there is also information available from the US Dept of State travel page for coming and going across the border.

Travel Insurance

We encourage Hearties who are traveling to the Hearties Family Reunion to consider purchasing travel insurance. There are policies that cover added costs if you must cancel your trip or if you become ill during your trip and have to extend or seek medical attention while out of the country.

The host hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
