At the very first Hearties Family Reunion in January of 2016, we hosted fans at a high tea at the historic Hycroft Manor. Hycroft is now known as The University Women’s Club of Vancouver. To Hearties, it will always be the Thatcher mansion featured prominently in season two of When Calls the Heart. For our 10th anniversary, we’re excited to return and offer a one-of-a-kind Hycroft tour and high tea experience for the Hearties!

This event includes a high tea, a tour of the manor, and photo opportunities galore! The bus trip also includes a shopping and sightseeing stop in Vancouver’s lively Gastown neighborhood, home to the whistling steam clock.

Accessibility per their website: Hycroft is a designated heritage mansion in Old Shaughnessy that has been home to The University Women’s Club of Vancouver since 1962. Regretfully, due to the nature of our heritage building, wheelchair access is not available.

This event location has many stairs; there is no elevator. Please use the RSVP form (provided in attendees’ confirmation email) to indicate if you will not attend due to mobility concerns.

Once individuals have registered in Eventbrite, your confirmation email will include a link to choose your tea time.

Please note: Hearties attending the tea on Friday must complete HFR Check-in on Thursday evening, October 1, 2026 between 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

We will have a late check-in table available Friday morning for one hour before the scheduled tea for individuals who experience travel delays.
