We are thrilled this year to offer an optional bus tour of Vancouver for our attendees! This is a wonderful opportunity to see this beautiful city while spending time with your fellow Hearties. Once your HFR registration spot is paid in Eventbrite, your confirmation email will include a link to an online sign-up for the tour. This is being offered at no additional cost, but you do have to sign-up ahead of time.

The bus tour will leave from the host hotel and head to Vancouver to see some of the well-known sites including Queen Elizabeth Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Stanley Park, English Bay, and Yaletown. There will also be a stop for lunch at Canada Place (lunch not included - this will be at your own cost).

This tour includes walking and multiple stops that require exiting and boarding the bus, so please weigh this carefully if mobility is an issue for you. This tour may involve an increased amount of physical activity such as substantial walking or climbing stairs. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Please note: Hearties who wish to take the bus tour on Friday must check in during the Thursday evening HFR Check-In time.

Hope Valley, also known as the Jamestown Movie Set, is located in Langley, which is a popular filming location and has been used in a variety of movies and TV shows. See some examples on the Tourism Langley website outlining some holiday specific filming locations in town. If you are interested in spending some time before or after the Hearties Family Reunion, you can reach out to Tourism Langley at info@tourism-langley.ca and they would be happy to help you make plans for your visit!
